Please give me a call and I will create a one of a kind window treatment just for you!

 Hello from Shelbyville Kentucky!

Tassel Room
We are back from the 600 Mile Yard Sale. What an adventure!  My daughter and I found some great treasures for her new room, ate some of the best local foods, and I acquired some new inspiration for creative window treatments.

Above is a picture of me "In Heaven" at
Making Ends Meet.  This is a great little decorator fabric shop in Shelbyville, KY.  What inspiration!

The trip was all about finding old things that could be transformed into new updated items.  Like the antique hand crocheted doilies we bought that I turned into new pillows for my daughter's bed (see a photo below), and the antique "Tea Towels" that will be transformed into her new window treatments.

Clients ask me all the time how I come up with the unique designs for their window treatments.  The truth is I find inspiration in everything. I have added some inspirational highlights from our road trip below to give you some ideas.

When you are ready for me to design the perfect treatment for your home, I can be reached at Windowdzn@aol.com.
Until next time....

Sincerely,

Diane Sherman
Fringed Chair

Wow, what a chair!
What an unusually trimmed chair. How about this for unconventional use of brush trim?  This gives me great inspiration for a brush trimmed cornice,  boxed seat cushion, or pillow. A perfect conversation piece for a living room!

Multi Fabric Chair
Classic use of multiple fabrics in one project. Six great coordinating fabrics in one piece.  Four matching trims.  This chair gives me inspiration for an adorable kitchen valance, window seat cushions and bedding.  Or how about changing the fabrics to zebra print, solid black, and a black and white stripe?

Pillow
This pillow looks like a piece of art!  Love the trim!

Doilly pillows
These are the antique doilies that Jenna picked up at the 600 Mile Yard Sale.  I turned them into pillows for her bed!

Please give me a call and I can design the perfect one of a kind window treatment for you!
