For a comfortable, casual feel you might choose textured fabrics with a tailored shape. If it is romance you are going for, use an abundance of soft sheer or silky fabrics. Sleek lines and bold colors will give a dramatic, contemporary feel. If you are making over the entire room, it is recommended that you choose your window treatments first and then select your wall color. You don't want to be limited in your selection by your wall color.
