Escape from Clutter helps you to " Break free from your clutter" and begin to bring order to your home and life. It relieves the stress of coming home to a cluttered home where as an organized home could add years to your life.
Organization is a learned habit, all it needs is practice and of course help from a professional organizer.
I work along with my clients to help them achieve the peace of mind of a clutter free home. I work with clients on their papers, closets, kitchens, home offices, kids rooms, all rooms of a home plus time management.
I also teach classes at Buffalo Grove Park District and Stevenson High School Prep. Feel free to call there for days and times of classes. Or, call me to set up an appointment and we will get right to uncluttering your home.
Here are a few tips for getting organized:
1. Schedule a time to organize an area or room, literally schedule in your planner or on a calendar.
2. Get ready to organize; have bags or boxes and label them "Trash" and "Give Away".
3. Pick any spot in your room or space you want to organize and just begin.
4. Do not leave the area you are working in as that could be distracting.
5. Always keep a pad of paper and pen with you as you organize. There may be things you need to get or remember and this way you do not leave the area you are working in.
6. Plan ahead for where you will either take your give aways, or set up a pick up date for after you are done organizing. This will give you a goal date to finish your room or space.
These are just a few beginning tips to get you started. Hope they help.
