Hemet Hospice Volunteers

Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc., and their Temecula branch office, Community Hospice Services is a locally based, non-profit charitable organization.

 

For over 30 years, their efforts have focused on the needs of hospice families, the bereaved, and promoting the hospice mission in Southwest Riverside County.  

 

As an independent hospice support agency, they have been able to be true to their founding mission and have supported thousands of hospice families as they faced the end-of-life with bravery and compassion.

This month's focus highlights a Southern California non-profit organization that Virtual Outsourcing Solutions strongly supports. We also wanted to take the opportunity to mention the Temecula Chamber of Commerce Business & Health Expo coming up on October 19th. I recently accepted a position on the Board of Directors for the Temecula Chamber and am honored to be part of such a wonderful business community. New NLRB Poster Mandate Effective Nov. 14th

Effective November 14, 2011, most private-sector union and non-union workplaces will be required to post a notice to employees noting their rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).  

 

The NLRA guarantees the right of employees to organize and bargain collectively with their employers, and to engage in other protected concerted activity.

 

Employees covered by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) are protected from certain types of employer and union misconduct. The Notice gives general information about employee rights, and about the obligations of employers under the NLRA.
