PAUL DUXFIELD
Many of you will remember Paul Duxfield (otherwise known as "Duxy"), who used to work at Oonas Dive Club with his partner Shelly. Since then, Paul has built a worldwide reputation as a photography expert, working for one of the biggest underwater camera retailers in the UK, writing for a range of Dive magazines, giving presentations and talks at Dive Shows, as well as running photography workshops all over the globe.
The photo shows Duxy (centre) at his traditional Oonas Divemaster initiation back in the year ????
Duxy and Shelly are coming back to spend a week with us here at Oonas. Duxy will be running a week-long photography workshop on specially chosen dive sites. He will be on-board (and underwater) to give tips and advice and once back at the Dive Centre, over a beer or two, he will give a number of talks and presentations covering topics such as use of light, basic image editing, macro, and wide angle, composition and creativity, as well as one-to-one sessions.
