Dear Oonas Friend,

It's been a really excellent summer out here at Oonas Dive Club. So many of you have returned to see us and we have also had great pleasure in welcoming many new faces to the Oonas family.

We've had a bumper summer for sightings as well! Those of you who follow what we are up to on facebook will know about amazing encounters with Dolphins underwater, an usually high number of sharks including our favourite June visitors, the Whalesharks and for those of you who enjoy finding those little critters (you know who you are), we've been lucky enough to tick off some new entries in our logbooks.

Your Vote Counted!

We are thrilled to announce that Oonas Dive Club has been voted as the "Best Overseas PADI Dive Centre" in the recent Sport Diver Magazine Awards.

This is a tremendous achievement which reflects our fantastic combination of great guests, excellent dive staff and really cool boat crews!

PADI Master Scuba Diver Challenge

Each year PADI run a Master Scuba Diver of the Year competition, and we are proud to announce that Sandra Waterfeld, a regular Oonas guest, won this prestigious award. Sandra was awarded a prize of five hundred British pounds credit to be used at any PADI Dive Centre.

Those who also achieved PADI Master Scuba Diver, the highest PADI diver recreational qualification, this year were:

Birmingham Dive Show Winner

The winner of our Birmingham Dive Show 2010, Win a Holiday competition is DAN BEARDSMORE. Dan has won a 6 Day Diving Holiday for two people, including accommodation at Oonas Hotel. Congratulations!
Oonas Dive Club will be at the 2011 London and Birmingham Dive Shows, as well as the Dutch Dive Show. Come along to meet us, and enter our Win a Holiday Competition.

It's been such a busy year that our hotel has had many periods of maximum occupancy. We love to welcome guests to Oonas Hotel and we hate to disappoint when the hotel is full.

So, please remember to make sure that when planning your next holiday with us, you reserve your accommodation in our hotel prior to booking your flights. Also, please try and book as early as possible so we can make sure we have space in your favourite hotel.
