Climate Change Project Area Identification in Zambia by Peace Parks Foundation
Peace Parks Foundation is facilitating the development of a first generation reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries (REDD+) project in Zambia. This project is generating high resolution land use - land cover classes from the SPOT imagery supplied through Planet Action. The results will serve as a dataset that will be used in a historical land use - land cover change detection program.

Monitoring Sumatran Tiger Habitats in Indonesia by World Wildlife Fund

WWF has set precedents in "tiger wins", including successfully lobbying corporate partners and the government to declare an important area, Tesso Nilo, as a National Park. The project team is working on habitat analysis and vegetation classification using Spot images provided by Planet Action.
