Greetings!
Throughout Spring Break many North Central students traveled the country, and even the world, on service trips, mission trips, or other trips to spread North Central pride to as many places as possible. As a member of the North Central College Concert Choir, I was lucky enough to travel to Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida over a 10 day period for our yearly Choir Tour. I met many new people, including North Central alumni and trustees. We were also joined periodically by President Wilde, Vice President for Institutional Advancement Rick Spencer, Director of Alumni Relations Adrian Aldrich and Managing Director of Development and Corporate Relations Barbara Knuckles.

Whether on a choir tour, service trip or athletic spring training, it's always wonderful to have the support of our alumni family.  As students, we wouldn't have these opportunities if it were not for the alumni who support us. Whether you attended a basketball game during our team's NCAA tournament run, chanted, "NCC" as the Cardinals claimed yet another National Championship in indoor track and field, purchased (or will be purchasing) your tickets to the May 19 Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance at the Wentz or you made a financial gift to the college, you have touched the lives of all of us and we cannot thank you enough. Your continued support and encouragement make us proud to say we are Cardinals for life!

With Cardinal Pride,

Presidential Search
Board Chair Steve Hoeft '73 recently announced the formation of the Presidential Search Committee.  The Search Committee is charged with bringing final presidential candidates to the Board of Trustees for their election of North Central's 10th president.

A series of campus meetings for students, alumni, and faculty and staff were held to collect input on the characteristics and capabilities the next president should possess. The result of the input sessions, interviews and other feedback will be a "Position Specifications" document. This document will be shared with the entire campus community and will become the centerpiece of our recruitment efforts.  It will tell the story of our great school and paint a picture of what we desire for our next president.

If you would like to provide feedback, email the Committee at presidentialsearch@noctrl.edu
