| Greetings! |
The month of February is traditionally all about love. And while it's been a month of ups and downs, we've certainly been feeling that love at North Central College. Especially this past weekend when we hosted the CCIW Championships for men's basketball and women's and men's indoor track & field--claiming conference titles in men's basketball and men's indoor track & field. We experienced a different set of emotions earlier this month when we tragically lost a member of the alumni family, Shaun Wild '11. The love and support from the North Central family during this sad time has been overwhelming. And just two weeks ago President Wilde announced his retirement after nearly 22 years at "the School we Love." Again, the well wishes and kind words from the North Central family have been so amazing. Throughout these highs and lows, there's still love. And there's still family. As spring draws near, we look forward to continued love and a time for renewal and celebrations ... all with you, our North Central College family.

North Central College Family
| All of us in the Office of Alumni Relations were devastated by the untimely death of Shaun Wild '11 during an incident in downtown Naperville. But in the weeks following this tragedy, we were also uplifted by the incredible support of the North Central community--alumni, students, faculty and staff--who came together to support Shaun's family and Willie Hayes '12, who was injured in the same incident.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with these North Central families.
