Meditation tip - morning dew, winter light
Water drops on sheoak

Some winter mornings it can be hard to get moving: it's cold outside, the sun is low, it's damp underfoot... Rather than staying in-doors, why not step outside... and embrace the start of the day?
  • Spend a moment to notice the light on the dew drops, each one a delicate bubble of light.
  • Feel the cool air on your face; feel the sharpness of your sense of touch, feel it all over your skin.
  • Can you find a sheltered spot? Facing the sun, standing still, feel the sun warming your heart. Breath into your heart  Feel your breath and the sun's warmth come together.

Meditation and healthMeditation and health 19-21 August
Is health just a physical concern or does the mind play into it as well? Our Western medical approach has focused on seeing the body as a purely physical entity that can best be treated just on the physical level. In contrast, the Eastern meditation traditions have always seen that the health of the mind is integral to the health of our body...

What happens on a Lifeflow retreat?

Retreats are wonderful opportunity to get some space for yourself, and get some perspective on what's been happening in your life. Enjoy a break from normal pressures, relax deeply, and return home with your outlook refreshed. In all retreats you will learn a range short 'spot' and longer meditations, and be guided through deep relaxations and gentle yoga. The food is wonderful too!
