Reclaim your space
When you get into your car, do you
1. start the car, then automatically,
2. turn on the radio/CD/mp3?
 
Are you really listening? Or is the sound just providing a kind of aural gap filler?  Try t
urning the radio off, even if it's just for a few minutes. Reclaim your space.
  
Enjoy the silence of driving:

- Notice the various sounds - the hum of the engine, the vibration
  through the car, the whoosh of the air. 
- Notice your breathing - rough or smooth, even or erratic?
- Keep your mind on the road, but can you relax into it? Can you feel
  yourself and the driving becoming one?
  
Try resting in the space of driving, and the space of your own thoughts.
You may find you arrive in your destination more relaxed, less pressured.

Scholarships for Learn to Meditate and retreats
Are you a full-time tertiary student or Health Care Card recipient? Love meditation, or want to try it, but a bit strapped for cash? The Lifeflow Scholarship Fund makes it much easier to experience the benefits of meditation.

Apply by 29 July to be eligible for one of two scholarships for term 3 of the Learn to Meditate course or for retreats in the second half of the year. Full details are in the application form and on the scholarships page.

FREE Come and Try... 3 sessions in early August
Our Come and Try sessions are a great way to experience Lifeflow meditation for yourself, hear a little about what meditation is and how we teach it, and meet Lifeflow teachers. No bookings, or experience required, just turn up - bring a friend! There will be plenty of time for questions too.
