Come and Try. . .this Thursday and next week
Our Come and Try sessions are a great way to experience Lifeflow meditation for yourself, hear a little about what meditation is and how we teach it, and meet Lifeflow teachers. No bookings, or experience required, just turn up - bring a friend! There will be plenty of time for questions too.

Mindfulness meditationOur next Level 2 course is Mindfulness. There is a lot more going on in our lives than what we think is happening! Mindfulness meditation can be a powerful tool for untangling confusion in your life. End result: you feel better! Come and enjoy the deeper meditations too. Find out more.

Note changesOur Level 4 class has finally shifted from the Friday timeslot, so that has meant a bit of rescheduling of other classes. Also, we are now pleased to be offering a Level 2 course in the city precinct.



Changes for this year:
Level 4 - Tuesdays at 5.45 pm
Level 3 - Wednesdays at 5.45 pm and the normal Thursday 7.30 pm
Level 2 - The Wednesday 5.45 class is now at 47 South Tce, Level 3
   
All other classes are on at their normal times and places.

Take some time out
Retreats are wonderful opportunity to get some space for yourself, and get some perspective on what's been happening in your life. Enjoy a break from normal pressures, relax deeply, and return home with your outlook refreshed. In all retreats you will learn a range short 'spot' as well as longer meditations, and be guided through deep relaxations and gentle yoga. The food is wonderful too!

Tara Hills needs a hand

The accommodation building is being repainted and carpeted later this month and we need some helping hands to remove and put back the bedroom furniture. Please phone Lifeflow 8379 9001 or let us know by email if you are able to help on Sunday 13th Feb and/or Saturday 5th March. The building will be unavailable for use from mid February to early March.
 

Uni study - volunteers sought
Uni studyShona Kelly, from the School of Health Sciences at the University of South Australia is conducting a research project that is aimed at identifying methods of measuring stress.

Volunteers are needed - can you help? The criteria are:
· are between 18-70 years of age
· are generally in good health
· have been engaged in uninterrupted meditation practice for at least
  the past 3 years, involving a minimum of 5 days a week
· able to collect saliva samples at home following specific instructions
· able to converse in English
· able to attend a 2.5 hour testing session at UniSA
· Not be a long-term carer (caregiver)

Lifeflow scholarships - apply by 16 Feb
Scholarships
Are you a full-time tertiary student or Health Care Card recipient? Love meditation, or want to try it, but a bit strapped for cash? The Lifeflow Scholarship Fund makes it much easier to experience the benefits of meditation. 
  
Apply by 16 Feb to be eligible for one of two scholarships for this term of  the Learn to Meditate course or for retreats in the first half of this year.
