Fall is in the Air
Make Litchfield, CT and Cantons-de-L'est (Eastern Townships), QC part of your autumn itineraries. These areas are ideal for taking in the fall foliage but offer much more than meets the eye!
Litchfield, Connecticut, USA
The town of Litchfield, located in the region of Litchfield Hills, is an ideal destination for fall travel. Located approximately two hours from both Boston and New York City, Litchfield is easy to reach by motor coach. The area offers stunning foliage during the month of October, with peak around mid-month. Photographers, hikers, and site-seers alike will marvel at the beautiful colors and scenery. Be sure to pack a sweater or light jacket as fall temperatures tend to be crisp and cool, generally between 64°F and 42°F (18°C and 6°C). The area also offers several shopping, dining and lodging opportunities to round out your stay in the Litchfield area.

Cantons-de-L'est (Eastern Townships), Québec, Canada
The simple pleasures of country life await you in the Cantons-de-L'est (Eastern Townships) region of Québec. Beautiful scenery combined with history makes this a great fall group destination. Your group will be on the edge of their seats taking in the scenery while travelling along the Summit Drive, soaking in the view from atop the highest mountains in Southern Québec. If wine country is more your taste, travel along the Wine Route where you have the opportunity to visit over a dozen wineries! For the history buffs on board, the Township Trail offers up a sense of the region's storied past. The Cantons-de-L'est (Eastern Townships) region of Québec is sure to delight!
