Time to Reflect
"It's the most wonderful time of the year," and we are due for a good time. The month of December and the end of the year is the time of our biggest celebrations with Hanukah and the Christmas season upon us. It's time to take a break and not worry about any nagging issues the passing year has presented to us. This month is a good time to meditate, let go of stress, and enjoy the moment with our family and friends. There is plenty of time to reflect and start thinking of the New Year.
When we do take time to reflect, a journal is a good tool to use as a way of creating perspective. Chronicling the events of the year and dwelling on their impact stretches us and allows us to become wiser. A journal of past events is helpful in planning the future because we can avoid previous problems. Goal setting is easier and attaining them is more realistic.
Sometimes a journal is not very detailed and may only be a desk calendar. More elaborate journals and diaries provide insight into our feelings and help us understand our perspectives at the time the entries were recorded. A journal can be a part of your life's story and one you can cherish for years. It not only is a record but a guide about you. When you are developing your psychic abilities keeping some kind of journal is essential.
The insights we gain into ourselves from a journal assists us with recognizing our psychic gifts. The holidays may be a good time to practice using our psychic talent to make the time with our family and friends more enjoyable. The edge they give us may allow us to concentrate on our loved ones as we set aside our worries. The New Year is just around the corner and we will soon be making resolutions and tackling the issues of the day. For now; however, it's Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all!
