Accommodations: All accommodations are Ohana style (shared) among 3 cottages. Pele sleeps 3. Makena sleeps 4. Ohana sleeps 6 in 2 rooms with 2 private baths. All cottages have kitchenettes. If more privacy is preferred, B & Bs are available nearby. You will be responsible for making your own arrangements for alternate accommodations and all transportation. A list of suggested B & Bs will be provided upon request.

Hale Ho'omana Island Sanctuary is 13 miles (30 minutes) from Kahului International Airport. Car rentals are available at the airport and must be reserved. Call Hale Ho'omana to arrange for pickup at airport ($25 transport fee, one-way).

Your Retreat Facilitator 
Karen Reifinger is a practitioner, instructor and recognized in the field of Hawaiian healing and spiritual development. She is the founder and Director of the Huna Mua Wellness Center of Philadelphia, PA and a sought after speaker and workshop facilitator. Karen is frequently invited by massage schools, major spas, conferences and private groups across the country to share her specialized healing programs. She has developed the only state certified Hawaiian massage curriculum in Pennsylvania. Karen is a continuing education provider approved by the NCBTMB and Florida Board of Massage Therapy. She is scheduled to be inducted into the World Massage Festival 2010 Hall of Fame for her dedication and contributions to the Hawaiian Sacred Healing Arts.

Phil Young and Morag Campbell began their journey into the exploration of the human energy system as internal martial artists back in the early 80's. Their understanding was enhanced by a series of powerful psycho-spiritual episodes that allowed them to delve more deeply into themore ancient esoteric teachings of healing with energy. At the asme time they came across Polarity Therapy and began a healing practice that was to lead to a continued study of the work of Dr. Randolph Stone and early Western approaches to healing.
Phil and Morag have done extensive work in the area of Hawaiian philosophy and healing traditions. As initiates in the Hawaiian Order of Ku, the practice and teach the powerful healing arts fo Kauai. In 1999, Kupuna Aunty Angeline Loocey of Kauia said about Phil, "I have no doubt my ancestors speak through him."

Sandra Rose Michael, the founder of Huna Kane, Body of Light, creator of the Higher Self Alignment, Body mapping, High Altering and The Alchemy of Ecstasy is an internationally recognized Kahuna, Shaman and Healer to the Elite. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
A full refund will be granted only within 24 hours of payment. After 24 hours of payment, deposit of $333 USD is non-refundable.
For cancellation before February 28, 2009 - all but the deposit of $333 USD is refundable. For cancellation after February 28, 2009 - 50% credit refund (can be applied to any future event or personal healing session. All credits are transferable to friends or family for personal sessions or training with Karen Reifinger). No refunds are available after April 10, 2009.
PLEASE NOTE: All refunds will be offered in the form of a check and sent by snail mail, within 45 days after the closing of the Event that the tuition was applied to. | |
