Series editor Heidi Pitlor will moderate.
Bret Anthony Johnston is the internationally acclaimed author of Corpus Christi: Stories and editor of Naming the World and Other Exercises for the Creative Writer. His many awards include the James A. Michener/Copernicus Society of America Fellowship, the Glasgow Prize, an NEA Fellowship, and a National Book Award honor for writers under thirty-five. An occasional commentator for NPR's All Things Considered, he is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Currently, he is the director of the creative writing program at Harvard University.
Allegra Goodman's fiction has appeared in The New Yorker, Ploughshares, Commentary, Best American Short Stories, and The O. Henry Prize Stories. She is
the author of The Cookbook Collector, The Other Side of the Island, and other novels. She has received a Whiting Writers' Award, and a fellowship from the Radcliffe
Institute for Advanced Study. She lives with her family in Cambridge, MA.
Heidi Pitlor is a former senior editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and the series
editor for The Best American Short Stories. Her fiction has been published in Ploughshares, and she is the author of the novel The Birthdays.
