Ogunquit Museum of American Art

Kennebunk Savings Ballot

Help Ogunquit Museum of American Art  Share $100,000 Donation from Kennebunk Savings Bank

Vote for OMAA online! Deadline is April 30, 2011!

The voting for the annual Kennebunk Savings Bank donation is underway and bank customers are receiving notices in the mail and at the bank. Check your mail for your ballot and write down the "red code number" printed on the letter -- you'll need to write that in when you vote online or by mail.

At the conclusion of voting -- April 30, 2011 -- Kennebunk Savings will divide their generous community support of $100,000 among the top 125 nonprofits who receive the most votes.

Ogunquit Museum of American Art is a candidate -- so we ask all of you who are Kennebunk Savings customers to cast votes for us!

As you know, the Museum operates on a very tight budget -- and has very ambitious plans for programs, exhibitions, conservation and the enhancement of our visitor services and amenities. We have recently received generous support from the Quimby Family Foundation for our Master Plan effort, from our Almost Labor Day Auction and Fine Arts & Crafts Sale for education and conservation programs, and from four foundations supporting our Paper Conservation Project (see below). Every dollar moves us one step closer to our plan to realize the Museum's long-term strategic goals while burnishing our reputation as one of the finest small museums in America.

You can help us earn the support and recognition of the Kennebunk Savings Bank community! Bank customers -- please vote now!

The Bank has streamlined their process this year:

Online voting:  The Bank has made it easy for customers to vote online by going to www.kennebunksavings.com/ballot to register their votes.  If you vote online, remember to scroll down the page and hit "SUBMIT" to make your vote count. Customers can still drop off their ballots at Bank offices, or mail them in using their own envelope and stamp.
Greater impact: The Bank has capped the number of organizations eligible to receive funds at 125 so the donations will have greater impact. Once OMAA is in the top 125, the Bank will write us a check for our share of $100,000 based on the percentage of the votes we receive.

Thank you, Kennebunk Savings Bank customers for making the Ogunquit Museum of American Art a contender in this year's voting. And thank you, everyone for your continuing support of the Museum. We could not do this without you.
