The Ogunquit Museum of American Art welcomes more than two dozen regional creators of fine arts and crafts pieces including felting, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, paintings/prints, pottery/tiles, quilts and wooden toys to its 1st Annual Invitational Fire Art and Craft Sale.

Among the featured artists and craftspeople are Lori Austill, Doug Desjardins, Sandi Donnelly, Derek Glaser, Tom Glover, Karen Gola, Blair LaBella, Karen Orsillo, Caroline Parent, Loren Pollaro, Julie Schmidt, Anna Thompson, Peter Turner and Susan Wierzba.

  

Proceeds benefit the educational programs at the OMAA.

Tickets for the Preview Sale, 5-8 pm on Friday, November 5, 2010 are $10 and include refreshments catered by the Roost Café and Bistro in Cape Neddick, Maine. Music will be provided by Seasmoke. Visitors are encouraged to park Friday evening at the Cape Neddick Country Club and take the free trolley shuttle to the Museum.

 

Tickets for the Sale from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 6, 2010 are $5. Additional parking will be provided at the Riverside Motel on Shore Road on Saturday, November 6 from 10 am to 4 pm.

 

Make a day of it! The Ogunquit Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week runs November 1-9, 2010. Before or after a visit to the OMAA Invitational, join an Ogunquit Chamber member restaurant for breakfast (participating members offer two breakfasts for $15), lunch (2 entrees for $20) or dinner (three-course dinner for $25 per person).  Prices do not include alcohol, taxes or tip.
