Dear Spirit Journeyers,
Even though the downturn in the economy has hit us pretty hard, I am not giving up. I still believe too strongly in the importance of what Spirit Journeys offers our community.
So, I'm starting the year off with lots of new offerings. There are new facilitators joining Spirit Journeys offering new topics for our expanded Workshop Calendar.
Here's just a little info on how Spirit Journeys works. When I schedule an event I have to pay upfront non-refundable deposits to hotels, retreat centers, etc. Also, most contracts state that the balance is due 90-60 days prior to the event start date. In addition, I am responsible for the entire amount contracted for. So, if I reserve space for 15 people and only 10 register, I still have to pay for 15 people. Some contracts even require payment in full if I cancel an event altogether. As you can see, this can get pretty expensive.
You can help keep Spirit Journeys going by registering early for events. If you can't register early, at least let me know that you are interested in attending. This will help me a great deal. Thanks!
