Our "Image of the Week" features Coach Buzz Williams directing the defense in Marquette's 95-78 victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats (17-8) at the Bradley Center last Saturday afternoon. Down 16-4 to start the game the 18th ranked Golden Eagles (21-5) rallied to cut the lead to 24-17 and then took control with a 10-0 run. Up 47-35 at the half Marquette then used their defense to create offensive opportunities to coast to the win. Jae Crowder and Darius Johnson-Odom scored 23 points each on National Marquette Day. Jamil Wilson added 15 points for the Golden Eagles while the team held Sean Kilpatrick, the Bearcats leading scorer to only seven points. Click here for some additional images from the game.
