Our "Image of the Week" comes from the Mitchell Park Conservatory (The Domes) seasonal light show held in conjunction with their Music Under Glass series of concerts on Thursday evenings. A variety of color changing products light up both the interior & exterior of Mitchell Park's landmark beehive shaped horticultural domes. Inside, the lights syncronize shows to music from Tchaikovsky & the Beatles. Click here for a version of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by the Beatles during the light show. Photo Credit: Mark Bertieri Festive Friday Eves is an exciting series of five, free, family-oriented evening events beginning Nov. 18 and running through Dec. 16, in the Cedar Creek Settlement in Cedarburg. Enjoy browsing gift and specialty stores, antique shops, galleries, three restaurants, artists studios and the Cedar Creek Winery, festively adorned for the holidays with luminarias, natural greenery, garlands, wreaths and thousands of tiny, white lights. |
