Our "Image of the Week" is a view of last year's Brady Street Festival held on Milwaukee's Lower East Side. During its heyday in the 1960's, the Brady Street neighborhood was known as Milwaukee's hippie mecca with its counter-culture scene. But the times haved changed and the area is now contain some of the city's finest restaurants, shops, taverns, lounges, salons and cafes. This year's festival takes place this Saturday (7/30) from 11am - 11pm. featuring three stages with live entertainment, a very popular drag show, a rock climbing wall, The Division BMX Stunt Team, a Pro Wrestling Ring and a variety of vendors, local cheese makers, jewelry and pottery crafters, and a vast array of food.
