Money Bag Month

In 2011, July has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays. This is called money bags so forward this to your friends (it is said this brings you and them money within four days). Based on Chinese

Feng Shui, the one who does not forward will be without money. It is also said this happens once every 823 years. I'm not sure what that means since 'money bags' happened in October 2010 too. I haven't done the research but perhaps it only happens for a particular month every 823 years?

Do you realize the significance of 2011? Look at these dates: 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11. If you're tuned in to numerology, one means new beginnings. Are we being asked to change our ways? How can we make the world a better place?

Another brain teaser -- take the last two digits of the year in which you were born then add the age you will be this year - the total is all one's. If that isn't a sign, what is? How can we help change the world one business, one home, one person at a time? Feng Shui!

Feng Shui and Weddings
By Diana Garber

Feng Shui has many definitions, and my simplest descriptors are:
  • The act of maximizing our experience of the environment
  • An environment that feels safe and secure

There are several environments: Mind, body, home, work, relationships, mode of transportation, and so on. When it comes to the mind, body, and relationships - there's input and output; in other words, positive thoughts and actions attract positive reactions. When it comes to love, being in love, and having others share our experience of it, Feng Shui is definitely a tool for your toolbox.

There are many types of Feng Shui. What most people think of when discussing marriage is the "love" or "marriage" area. That's Western (Black Sect) Feng Shui. Some of what we'll cover below applies to Western Feng Shui, and some of it does not.

Classic Feng Shui doesn't subscribe to a love or marriage area because all areas affect love and marriage. As an example, the NW of the church, reception hall, and your home affects the head male. The SW affects the head female. North affects communication, South affects the heart, and so on. If you are blending a family, certain directions (and the energies there) affect children.

Classic Feng Shui works holistically and is more thorough. If any area is out of balance, love and/or marriage can be undermined. If there's separation or divorce energy, it needs to be managed. If there's affair energy, that also needs to be managed.

People have asked us for years how to maximize their engagements, weddings, honeymoons, and homes. This article provides a few useful ideas. The top six tips are listed here.

Tip of the Month

Beginning 6/6/11, we enter a 4 wood month in a 7 metal year. Metal chops wood so this is a dominating relationship. The month's energy can bring about miscarriage, divorce, injury by metal objects, turmoil between women, and thigh & wrist problems. The up side is that if you're looking to conceive, this is favored this month. If you don't want get pregnant, take extra precautions. If you are single, love could be in the air. If you are married, affair energy can be tempting.

According to the cycle of the 12 Chinese astrology signs, this month Rat people are challenged. Be conservative this month and don't initiate anything new. This is a good month to rest and recharge.

We've been in this commercial building for 49 years with additions added at various different periods of  time. The business was experiencing a noticeably steady decline, especially since the 1990's. Within the last 3 years, even though there has been a recession, it declined even more drastically. Determined not to give up, I hired Diana Garber of Intuitive Concepts to analyze the energy.

We're about 60% complete with the Feng Shui recommendations in 3 months. I believe business has increased 100%! The phone is ringing again and we're busy! I also made staff changes that made a huge difference in cash flow energy. Another troublesome staff member left suddenly. Diana, when analyzing staff's energy and how they relate to the business and me, indicated in February this person was not a good fit for the team. Immediately after the departure, a friend said, 'you've got to hire my friend who is in your area,' so I'm exploring more staff changes.

I'm excited to see how the business continues to excel! Thanks, Diana!
