THANK YOU. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you, your family, and your business. Kouri Insurance has been around since 1970 with the same goal, to do the best we can for our customers. We appreciate the many relationships we have gained over the years, and the generous amount of referrals you send our way.
 
2010 brings an exciting time to Kouri Insurance as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary serving our customers.
 
This is also how long Randy, our founder, has been an agent. Bryan will be marking his 20th year with the agency and 5th year as an owner. We would also like to recognize Anne's 10th year with us. All together, our employees have been in the insurance industry for over 133 years, 98 of them with Kouri Insurance. While some might think "old", we like to use the word "experienced" to describe us!
 
From all of Kouri Insurance, it our greatest wish that your 2010 be filled with Joy, Peace and Prosperity.

We have had a great 40 years, but times change and we want to make sure we are keeping up with your needs. Please drop us an email and let us know how we are doing, what you would like us to do better, and what we can do to better meet your needs. Insurance plays a large role in our lives. How can we make it better for you?
 
2. What do I do if I have a claim?
Reducing stress from a claim..
Nobody wants to have a claim. They are inconvenient, stressful and interrupt our normal routine. There are ways though to make the process work as efficiently as possible.
 
1, Please take the necessary steps to prevent additional damage to your property. If you have a water leak, start the cleanup right away. Whether the loss is covered or not, it is best to reduce the damage and related expense.
 
2. If you are in an auto accident, call the police. To prevent a fraudulent medical claim, always call the police. Experience shows that the more the other party does not want to contact the police, the more you should.
 
3. The adjuster is on your side. Seldom do we see an instance where one of our companies is treating our customer unfairly. In fact, most of the time they are taking the extra step to make sure you are satisfied with the outcome. That doesn't mean there are not disagreements, but we find that a respectful approach from all sides leads to a more satisfactory result for all.
 
4. You are not alone. When a claim occurs, we are there to help you. Have questions, unsure what to do, need help contacting the other company?  Please know that we are here to help and encourage you to call us when you need assistance.

3. With Santa's deliveries, there may be a need to update your coverage. 
Did you receive a little sparkle? Maybe a motorized toy?
 
If you received a special piece of jewelry, a motorized vehicle or something of high value, you may need to have your insurance adjusted to cover that item. It is important to remember that your home policy will often limit jewelry to $1,000 while providing NO coverage for any type of motorized vehicle. So if Santa brought the diamond you always wanted, a snowmobile for the great outdoors, or an extra special gift, it may be a good idea for us to discuss if your coverage needs to be adjusted.

How often do we review your insurance?
 
A common question we receive is regarding how often we review our companies and the rate they offer you. This is a good question as it directly relates to the value you receive.
 
A major benefit of Kouri Insurance versus State Farm, Farmers Insurance Group, Geico and other such companies is that we can offer you the best products from multiple companies to adapt to your changing needs. It is kind of like buying a car, you have different needs at different times in your life and no one model fits every time.
 
To make sure we stay leaders in the marketplace, we review our companies constantly to ensure they are competitive with the value they offer. We look at your renewals to try to catch any increases and advise on alternatives when necessary. In fact, we have just gone through a substantial review of our companies that resulted in improved value for many of you. We shifted customers and companies where it made sense to be able to enhance the value received. This was all done within our agency and handled by our staff to reduce any impact on your busy schedule. This type of benefit is not possible with one company providers.
 
Can we do it all by ourselves? No! 
 
We need your help. This is why I encourage you to schedule insurance reviews with us. This allows us to review your needs as they are today, to make sure you have the coverage you need while taking full advantages of the discounts we offer. At Kouri Insurance, it is important to us to periodically review your changing needs to ensure your insurance is keeping up.
 
There is a lot of advertising out there making outlandish promises and comparing apples to oranges. Please remember that insurance is about more than just price. Decisions need to reflect the coverage being offered and the quality of the company and agency involved. You need to have the confidence of knowing that your insurance will be there when you need it. If you receive what appears to be a better offer, please give us the chance to discuss it. Often, the "better" offer is simply a reflection of a different coverage setup or a change in your life that we were not aware of. We want you as a customer for life!
