FREE WORKSHOP DURING BikeSL, sponsored by East Bay Bicycle Coalition.
Safe road bicycling takes a lot more than balance, a helmet and a good attitude. Join the East Bay Bicycle Coalition instructors for an afternoon of fun games, safety drills, skills building and an opportunity to voice individual concerns. The workshop concludes with a slow neighborhood ride. This free workshop is intended for kids of all ages who are able to ride a bike and are ready to get comfortable on the roadways with their parents. Parents must accompany kids and should bring their own bicycles, helmets, and adequate clothing for a relaxed bike ride of under 2 miles. Each child receives a free red binky light for participating!
