Class Descriptions:

Bellydance - a timeless celebration of movement, music, and feminine strength. This class will focus on increasing strength, balance, confidence, and flexibility with beginner technique and combinations. This is a diverse dance form that welcomes all ages, body types, and fitness levels.

 

Core Yoga-Develop long, lean core muscles; strengthen and protect your back; tone and align the body. Build heat and endurance to enhance your yoga practice. All levels welcome.

 

Gentle Yoga - A safe, nurturing class. Perfect for beginners, prenatal/postnatal women, seniors, or people recovering from injury. No yoga experience necessary.

 

Kripalu Yoga - A conscious practice of physical yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques for integrating body, mind and spirit. Kripalu means "compassion" and approaches the practice of yoga with the intentions of awareness, self acceptance and authenticity. All levels welcome.

 

Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga - Classes create a community of women staying healthy and active during this unique stage of life. Designed to stretch, strengthen and relax. No yoga experience necessary.

 

Vinyasa Flow - A challenging class with flowing sequences. Perfect for students wishing to deepen their practice. Knowledge of sun salutations suggested.

 

Yoga for Fertility - A relaxing class designed to reduce stress; cultivate a more loving connection to the body; gently stimulate energy and circulation in the reproductive tract. No yoga experience necessary.

Couples welcome.

 

Yoga for Stress Relief - A slower-paced class designed to release blocked energy and

relieve tension in the body and mind. Breathing techniques paired with gentle movement make this class ideal for beginners, prenatal/postnatal women, or more advanced practitioners looking for stress relief.

 

Zumba © -Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Zumba is an exhilarating, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that's moving millions of people toward joy and health. You go at your own pace, making it adaptable for all fitness levels.

Mommy & Memommy baby yoga

Mondays 10:45-11:45 a.m.

January 9 & 23/February  6 & 20
$15 per workshop or $25 for two  

These workshops are for women at least six weeks postpartum (with doctor's permission to begin exercise) and their pre-crawling babies.  We will focus on postures beneficial to the postnatal woman as well as baby massage and stretches to help baby relax. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other new moms and enjoy a much- deserved break in your schedule. Please bring a blanket for baby.
