All of us at United In Light wish to send you and your families great blessings through the Holiday Season that bring you more laughter, more love and more abundance of all good things!

The Sanctuary has been very blest. We are thankful for so many who have generously donated their time, efforts & support for the draft horses. We are most appreciative and at the same time excited to see what will unfold in the coming year!

This winter has hit us hard here at the ranch. The high winds and cold have been severe. One of our main wind wall shelters is greatly damaged and needs to be taken down and rebuilt. An old tractor that had been used for moving hay is no longer working, thus the founder had been hand carrying 340 pounds of feed to the horses for 5 days until we had help! Needless to say, we are in desperate need for a new tractor with the capacity of hauling and lifting one ton round bales. We are also in need to build new shelters to withstand the severe winds of 50-90 mph and cold temperatures.

Good news, even through these situations, the horses have be playing and running more than ever! The Gentle Giants of United In Light seem to like the colder weather & we do all we can to provide love and warm tummies, no matter what happens around the ranch!
