In the world of Laserfiche the big question is lingering...will LF8 ever be released? The answer to that is YES! Right now the LF Development Team is in the final stages of the release process. We know everyone is anxious for the upgrade.  We will keep you posted!

If you are having issues with sending email via LF, I have a simple tip for you to try. Open Internet Explorer and then go to Tools>Internet Options.  Click on the Programs Tab.  Make sure Outlook is selected and not Outlook Express.  You may have to reboot your machine.

In our last issue I introducted our website, DocUnited.com, for submitting issues, but did you know there is a wealth of information on our site just waiting for you to take a look at?

 

For this issue, I would like to point out our Tech Notes. When you go to DocUnited.com on the left side under DUO Shortcuts,  is a tab called DUO Tech Notes(example on the right side of this newsletter).  Click on that tab and then a screen comes up that asks for username and password, which are laserfiche for username and laserfiche for password....I know it's terribly complicated...On the next page will be a list of choices; which is information from our past conferences, news, and last but not least...Technical Notes.  We are going to be writing some tech notes that we will feature each month on how to do something that may interest you. Hint:  Look below.
