WEEKLY UPDATE | 10 January 2012
What is the mission of your life? Dear Church,
Some challenging questions were posed at the start of our Call and Response series on Sunday. We hope you're beginning to press into them-remember that this isn't something you have to do on your own! If you're not yet a part of a life group, please find one that meets near you, or email us with questions. We would like to help you get connected as you continue to seek where God is calling you in the new year.
You can also share your story with our staff and leaders.
More news and information from our community below, including ways to serve both within the church and our neighborhood.

Serve our Neighbors | Park Slope Women's Shelter
| Over the past year we've been blessed to begin and sustain a relationship with the Armory women's shelter in South Park Slope, which assists women who are overcoming mental illness and addiction.
The Armory Women's Shelter is preparing for an upcoming inspection and needs our help with painting, cleaning, organizing and some small repairs. This is a great opportunity to serve our neighbors in a practical way. Date: Saturday, January 28th Time: 10AM (plan to serve most of the day if you're able-if you can only serve an hour or two, that's great as well!) Location: Park Slope Women's Shelter, 1402 Eighth Avenue, Brooklyn Please email connect@trinitygracechurch.com if you plan to serve so that we can let the shelter know how many helpers to expect.

Serve Your Church | Sundays
| Ever wanted to "do something" but didn't know exactly where to begin? Join a Sunday serve team-you'll get to share your gifts and talents as well as get to know others in community. Most teams ask for a one week per month commitment. You can get in touch with the leader of the team you're interested in for more details.

Relationship Series | let us know your thoughts
| Fill out our quick relationship questionnaire!
Our Lent series this year will focus on relationships-friendship, sexuality, dating, marriage, family-and how our relationship with God impacts each. As we prepare, we'd like to hear from you. What are your most pressing concerns? What topics would you like to see covered? While we can't promise to answer every burning question in-depth, we'll do our best to use your input as we move forward. Your names will not be on these forms, so please share candidly.

On Your Mark. Get Set. Help. | run with team World Vision this March
|
1 billion people drink dirty water every day, leading to disease, and in some cases, death.
On March 24, 2012, Trinity Grace Church will help raise funds to provide clean water in Africa by participating in this year's 13.1 mile marathon for Team World Vision. Joining nearly 1,000 other runners from around the city, we'll get in shape and leverage our resources to help Africans in countries like Kenya and Ethiopia gain access to one of life's basic necessities: water.
Each TGC parish is organizing its own team, so we can have a little "healthy competition" with our brothers and sisters from the other parish churches! We'll be making a special announcement on Sunday as to how you can sign up to run with Team Brooklyn, led by our own Zach Williams.
