Dear Church,

Welcome back to the city, and for those who are new to New York, a special welcome.

This fall is a great time to join or dig deeper into our community. We have two citywide worship gatherings planned, and three church-wide fall connecting events---a visit to the Storm King art center, apple-picking, and Christmas tree cutting---as well new opportunities with our missional communities.

Welcome to Our College Students | Empire Bash, Thu Sept 16, 8-10pm
TGC, Campus Crusade and the King's College welcome ALL our New York college students to at FREE event at the Empire State Building on September 16.

Don't miss an awesome night at the ICON of our city with college students from all over
the city. There will be great food, amazing performances and the chance to win BIG!

Student Kick-off Event - Thursday, September 16, 8-10pm at the Empire State Building (concourse level, King's College space).

YOU MUST HAVE A PICTURE I.D. to show at the security desk!

Men's Leadership Bible Study | Wednesdays 7am, starting September 15

Jon Tyson is leading a men's morning Bible study about leadership, every Wednesday morning during the Fall, 7am-8am. All men are welcome.

The study will be based on 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy.

Wednesdays starting Sept 15, 7:00-8:00am at the TGC offices (330 5th Ave, 8th floor, corner of 33rd)

Storm King Trip | Saturday September 25

The annual Trinity Grace trip to the Storm King art center is Saturday September 25. This is a great chance to get out of the city and see some amazing sculptures outdoors. Especially great for families but all are welcome.

Arrange your own transportation and bring a friend or two (this is a great event to bring non-Christians to). Bring a picnic or buy food at the cafe.

Saturday September 25 - meet at the Storm King around 10am.

The Story of God: Understanding the Biblical Narrative | Sept 19* - Dec 19

Have you ever been asked a difficult question about the bible, and not known how to answer?

Or, have you ever been confused by how strange stories in the Old Testament relate to your faith today?

Join us for an interactive 14-week course in which we attempt to gain a fuller picture of the story of God from Genesis to Revelation. Everyone is welcome, no matter what your experience with the bible.

Chelsea - 4:30-5:30pm at St Paul's

Converting The Church | the body
Scripture says that we are the body of Christ - we are his hands and feet, and he is our head. In our own bodies, we want something to happen, and then our body must carry it out. So how do we, Christ's body, know how to act out what Christ wants?

Friday, Sept. 20th, 4:00pm at Union Theological Seminary (3041 Broadway at 121st St)

Adam Taylor is currently serving as a White House Fellow in the White House Office of Cabinet Affairs and Public Engagement. He was formerly the Senior Political Director at Sojourners where he was responsible for leading the organization's advocacy, coalition building, and constituency outreach.

Missional Communities are groups of 15-40 people that follow Jesus together by loving God, pursuing wholeness, caring for one another, and serving our neighbors. We would love for you to join us at one of these neighborhood meetings.

Trinity Grace Church has several ongoing prayer groups that are always open to new participants. The best way to learn to pray is by praying - hope you will join us in this 'mother of all ministries'.
