Greetings!
I spoke to some friends this week about living in
possibilities - not probabilities. That, in life, we need
to spend a little time contemplating the "what if" and
"how can I' vs. listening to all of the people who will
tell us how "it can't be" (and there are TONS of those
people out there).
It's very much like the "Little Engine That Could".
We all know the story - none of the other engines
thought that the small, old, engine could pull the cars
up the hill. No one but the little engine herself (and
she had some doubts). It wasn't probable....but it was
possible. She started up with "I think I can, I
think I can" and came back down with "I knew I could,
I knew I could." The little engine made it up and
over through sheer possibility and the realization of
her potential.
If we spend more time working on what
is possible vs. what is probable there will be NO
LIMITS on the GREAT things that will come our way!
When it comes down to what really matters, the level
of your optimism and the depth of your personal
relationships count more towards your happiness
than any other factor. With all that is going on in the
world I, personally, don't think there
has been a better time to be more optimistic or
happy. Do you?
Don't wait! Connect with the people you work with
today. Increase that level of optimism and the depth
of those relationships. Let's face it, it's not a dress
rehearsal, it's the only life you have. Live large, be in
charge!
