On the heels staging the Chapter's first annual conference the Board has been busy brewing up activities for the next quarter.    In June, close to a dozen communicators from Trinidad and Tobago will descend in New York City for IABC 's International Conference and for four days of learning and networking.    For those not going to the Big Apple, IABC T&T will host a breakfast meeting, "Fattening Your Ideas File," on Tuesday June 24th. Designed to energise your creative thinking, this Anthony Watkins breakfast brief will be held at Satchmo's Jazz Restaurant & Lounge from 7:30 am.      On July 29th, the Chapter will also host its AGM luncheon with feature speaker Jerry Stevenson, Immediate Past President of IABC Dallas Chapter. Look out for more details on our website IABCTT as well as for our Chapter's first on-line annual report and presentation of candidates from mid-July.       So you see, things have certainly percolating at the local Chapter. As usual, we encourage you to Be Heard by getting involved in any one of our committees or even in special Chapter projects. According to IABC member Ramon Gregorio, whose firm Lucent Research Limited was responsible for the post conference evaluation survey: "The seminar was a resounding success among the target audience with 94 % of attendees agreeing that the session was of extreme importance to the future of the profession." The Caribbean region has a new IABC Chapter.      Earlier this month, IABC Barbados was officially welcomed as a developmental Chapter by the Association's international office in San Francisco.      At the Chapter's  first meeting where a board was elected, IABC T&T President, Judette Coward Puglisi gave the feature address. In welcoming IABC Barbados, she reminded the Bajan communicators that the formation of the Chapter brought the Caribbean one step closer to the formation of its own region.
