Welcome to a brand new IABC T&T year
Since our AGM in July, the 2007-2008 board has had four strategic planning sessions which culminated in our first board retreat on September 1st. Is the IABC T&T board ready to begin its year? You bet. We have a packed agenda that includes lively professional development programming, fun networking opportunities and a two-day communication summit that will conclude our year. Additionally, we've beefed up our capacity on the board in order to serve you better and are setting global standards with the adoption of cutting-edge social media tools including the debut of our first podcast later this month. We are the first chapter in the world to have a Vice President committed to strategically adopting and adapting the tools of the web in order to meet our member's specific needs. We will have our first face-to-face meeting for the 2007-2008 year on September 27th when members meet for IABC T&T's first professional programme but there's no need to wait, you can catch up with us in cyberspace. Join us on facebook or in blogsphere. Check out what's happening in the fastest growing PR and communication association in Trinidad and Tobago at www.iabctt.com and look out for press ads about our upcoming September meeting. Thanks for your support, on behalf of the Board; I look forward to our year of service.

| An IABC T&T Welcome |
