NACPM Awarded Grant for 2012!

We are pleased to announce that NACPM has been awarded $132,000 from the Transforming Birth Fund.  We are very grateful for the extraordinary support for our work from this generous donor for the fourth year in a row!  The funding was granted, in part, to support NACPM's policy approach of the past several years to increasing women's access to the care of Certified Professional Midwives.

This generous award will allow NACPM to continue its spearheading role in the Midwives and Mother in Action (MAMA) Campaign, and the work with our MAMA Campaign partners to build support in Congress for the first-ever bill for CPMs: H.R. 1054, the Access to Certified Professional Midwives Act of 2011.
