This is an update from me and The Council of 12, including some insights on how we can personally work with the new energies and the reconfiguration that's taking place all around us.

Looking Forward with New Eyes

The Council of 12 reminds us in this month's channeled message that the shift we are seeing in Washington is a direct result of our change in consciousness.

Americans -- and indeed people from across he world -- have had a change of mindset. A critical mass has been built within the collective, as more and more people have realized that they can make a difference in what happens next on this planet.

The heart of humanity has spoken -- and it has asked for a return to love. As we listen to this message, and act on it in our daily lives, we will have the fuel to change our world into the type of place we want to inhabit.

The kind of fuel we speak of here is a spirit-infused energy that catalyzes productive solutions and lights the way so there are fewer false starts. Obama's being at the helm can provide a great acceleration.

From an astrological standpoint, Obama is gifted with a number of key character attributes that could be quite valuable at this pivotal crossroads. These are qualities that would be highly prized by any individual or collective seeking to evolve into an enlightened consciousness.

When we look at Obama's soul life path this incarnation, from an astrological perspective, the following are some key energies and qualities he is here to focus on. We are already seeing some of them exhibited in his public life that is now getting even more public.

The Council of 12 suggested that I mention a few of them here, to remind us of qualities any lightworker (regardless of background or political party) would be grateful to embody. Also, reflecting on this list gives us a preview of some very potent and beneficial energies our world will have more experience with in this next pivotal cycle. Again, remember as The Council pointed out in their February message, this is not really about the person Obama but about a world that has transformed into more lightness of being.

A few of Obama's gifts are listed here:

*An ability to come up with original approaches is coupled with an intense focus on humanitarian principles. Has an ability to be in the forefront of needed revolutionary changes.

*An energetic focus on things involving great change, along with an ability to step back from situations to get a big picture view.

*The talent to communicate ideas in ways others can understand and appreciate. Natural story telling skill can touch the hearts of people who don't usually form an opinion or get involved. Ability to bring people together by addressing the whole instead of a select few.

*A view of life that sees ongoing possibilities, is basically optimistic, and sees the potential of discovering new things no one thought of before. A big plus is a natural intuitive ability coupled with a very quick mind. The intuitive gifts can be developed into telepathic skills and even a prophetic visioning of the future.

*Other qualities include courage, and the aptitude for bringing order to chaos. Organizational skills are combined with big-picture vision and the ability to inspire.

*Being able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, and to weigh all factors before acting.

*Important focuses, also, are family and community -- not only on a personal level but the collective level of involving humanity.

To be sure, these tendencies are not guarantees of behavior, outcomes, influence by others, or overall success in life. And they do not take into account contradictory factors. Obama's astrological chart, like anyone's, cannot be looked at rigidly. We all have potentials in a given life, yet our responses to the energetic forces of life's key moments will impact our spiritual evolution. Sometimes, also, key tendencies do not manifest fully until later in one's life.

As you may know, I often incorporate intuitive astrology life readings with other healing work I offer with The Council of 12. Training in astrology, in fact, came early in my career doing what I do today. I find astrology one of the very useful tools in helping us understand and work with our soul's life path. To study one's astrological influences, also, gives us a helpful guide to the self-transformation work we can do at the DNA level. Feedback I've gotten from numerous lightworkers since January 20 is that there is a renewed sense of optimism and a feeling of being connected to the larger whole. America's new president has amassed much goodwill worldwide, and there is a jubilance felt in the streets not felt for a long time.

We have many challenges ahead, including within the government in Washington. I know that city and its politics on an intimate level, having in my earlier life covered the White House and government as a journalist. However, I am confident from what we are now seeing -- and what The Council of 12 is showing me -- that our efforts and dreams are and will be supported. The return to heart-centered beingness is indeed in the making!

About our new in-person/teleclass format:
In December 2008 we launched a brand new format for these evenings, holding the very first worldwide channeling. The evening included a live call-in portion and 2 audio recordings. Additional evenings (see list above) like this are planned for 2009, and you are welcome to join us!

Whether you come in person and participate on-site or connect with us live via telephone and audio recordings, you will have an expanded way to connect with The Council's energies and messages.

In December, for example, we had a room-full of people on-site joined by callers from virtually every continent.

Our new format will allow you to connect with us live from anywhere in the world. Anyone who can dial a U.S. telephone number can register to participate with us.

Signups can also receive audio mp3 recordings of our evening's live call-in portion and guided meditative journey process. That means you can participate and benefit even if you are unable to attend the live conference call.

For those who have attended, you can still benefit long after our channeling when you hear and work with The Council's healing energies and guided process.

Note: the format for the channelings is new and evolving. Once the trial runs of the new teleclass live call-in format have been completed, there likely will be some changes in how these evenings are configured and priced. For right now, however, the workshop fee (other than Wesak) is $25. This is required in advance for all attending on-site, and is appreciated on a donation basis for all long distance off-site attendees. Whether you sign up for on-site or long distance, you can access the mp3 audio recordings. We record the first hour with live callers, and the last hour with The Council's guided meditative journey process. Receiving these audio recordings extends and expands your experience and the many benefits you will receive from participating.

General background on the channelings:

We gather together to add our light to the world scene, and to receive from spirit the energetic fuel for our next steps. The Council of 12 works with each person participating--throughout the entire time we gather in the Los Angeles area--providing spiritual openings, personal healing, and positive energetic momentum. This energetic support is often felt for a number of days before our channeling evening, and for a long while afterwards too.

You can set your intention that you receive a healing and more clarity about this issue or other questions. While the channeling evening format does not include a formal Q&A with The Council, they work with each person present (on site and long distance)

These evenings are an opportunity to focus on clearing out what we don't want to take into the next phase, and to energize our intentions for creating new opportunities. We want to be positioned positively for what's coming next. These evenings with The Council of 12 help us to do that.

In our group channeling evenings, we have a series of guided processes facilitated by The Council. The evening typically includes some messages from The Council, along with a guided meditative journey.

They assist us in refocusing, connecting with a passion for being here, and gaining confidence in our ability to succeed with what we came to accomplish. The evenings are also an opportunity to connect with other lightworkers, helping us to build a sense of community. In our world peace process, facilitated by The Council, we join with lightworkers worldwide to send positive healing energies to the Earth, and to people all over the planet.

This is the first part of a two-part experiential workshop series, designed to lay the foundation for working with DNA intuitive healing and development of intuitive knowing. This class gives you the basics of DNA intuitive healing.

Very hands-on, the three days are designed by Selacia and The Council of 12 to help you open more fully to your natural intuitive gifts. About these workshops:

In part 1, you will learn to expand your connections with the nonphysical and discover how to communicate with "the other side." Another focus of this class is to develop a tangible relationship with the unseen, including nonphysical teachers and guides. Students develop a deepening discernment and understanding of symbols and other communications often used by spirit. Students also learn to work with and communicate with orbs!

The first photo shows the Buddha Tapihritsa, the Wesak Valley, and a crystal tuner like those found in Selacia's Spirit Products Store. These tuning forks, when gently tapped against one of the more stable crystals, amplifies the energy of the stone, and as you move the fork through the air after tapping, it can spread that wonderful healing energy around the body, around your home, or around your work space.

About the Wesak:

An annual celebration with Selacia and The Council of 12. Attendance in 2009 can be either in person (limited seating) or long distance via teleclass live call-in and audio recordings. Experience The Council of 12's wisdom and healing energies as they lead you in a series of heart-opening energetic processes and a potent channeled guided meditative journey to the sacred Wesak Valley of Tibet. During this special evening, we will connect with the Masters who have achieved enlightenment. The Wesak is a time when we celebrate the natural Buddha nature of humanity, and receive Wesak blessings for our own enlightenment.

This is the first year we have offered the Wesak as a worldwide channeling. This will allow a limited number of people to attend on site, and others to join during the first hour via a live call-in teleclass.

All signups will have access to audio recordings of both the first hour (with live call-in teleclass), and the last hour (with The Council's guided journey to the Wesak Valley with the Masters).
