ut-AAUP Bulletin

"by and for the bargaining units but open to all"

Issue #40

Down to Earth with one of UT-AAUP's Finest

Lucy Duhon, UT-AAUP Executive Board

In case you missed it ...

Labor is not just about collective bargaining.  Sometimes it's - more happily - about cultivating and pruning and tending .. to bring forth fruit of the vine.  Whether as a respected educator or as a respected gardener.

The UT-AAUP  is pleased to present AAUP Executive Board Member and long-time UT Professor Don Stierman as he was profiled tending his garden in last Saturday's wonderful Blade article.  Enjoy the full feature story here:  http://www.toledoblade.com/Gardening/2011/05/07/Don-Stierman-Born-into-gardening-2.html

[Also printed in the Blade's "Peach" section, 5.7.11]
