Richard "Dick" Boyer, Professor Emeritus of History has passed away.  A link to his obituary is included here. 

Dick was one of the founding members of the UT-AAUP and a long-time friend. I particularly enjoyed bantering with him. He was a fun person with interesting and accurate observations and opinions about life at The University of Toledo. Our condolences to his family including his wife Shirley and children, some of whom were my students. Dick will be missed and remembered.
