The Toledo Blade reported in a front-page article on Saturday, September 5, 2009 that President Jacobs has withdrawn his furlough plan. In an earlier front-page article on Friday, September 4, 2009, the Blade reported that the total bonuses paid out by Jacobs over the past four years exceeded $1.5 million. The Blade also published a cartoon on Sunday, September 6. Links to all three Blade articles and the cartoon are provided below.
