Want to Help but Don't Have Much Time?
Here's How...
While the new Board is forming and preparing to step into their new roles, everyone will have a chance to chip in next year, even those who don't feel like they have the time to volunteer in traditional ways.
President-elect Tom Davidson is looking for volunteers to serve on a Chapter Meeting Service Team. Essentially, this would be a pre-designated pool of people who would be ready and willing to "pitch in" during our regular chapter meetings to do whatever is necessary on site that day. Of course, these volunteers would still get to enjoy and benefit from the meetings like everyone else, but would also be on standby to help the meeting flow smoothly for everyone's benefit.
Some examples include: helping at registration, moving furniture, assisting the speaker with "back-of-the-room" sales, or making last-minute extra copies. It will be a great way to help, to get to know people, and make each event that much more fun and rewarding. Simply let Tom know of your interest by emailing him at Tom@DavidsonLeadership.com today!

And Now A Word From Your President...
What a great turn out we had for our celebrity Hall of Fame speaker, Patricia Fripp! Not only was the program riveting, informative, and inspiring, but many more stayed for several hours after lunch to watch live coaching sessions.
The comments and take-aways were huge to many, who were so appreciative of Ms. Fripp's candor and constructive help. It is great to be part of an organization whose members include so many who help and inspire as she does!
I had the privilege of being one of the coachees on the hot seat. What an experience! This week I used the coaching tips to improve my signature story and when I delivered it, received an abundance of positive feedback.
Coming up this month Mikki Williams brings us an entirely different approach to speaking skills,
helping you develop humor and creativity in your presentations that make you unforgettable!
Looking ahead, I also urge you to mark your calendar for the next program - Friday, May 15th in Richmond. Bestselling author John Kremer brings creative ways to market your book without breaking the bank.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
