 At The Village Chapel our desire is to live the Word of God through Worship, Outreach, Relationships, and Discipleship. We believe that if we focus on Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth that God will present opportunities for us to reach out to those who need Jesus, grow in our relationships with one another, and go deeper in our walk with Christ as Disciples.  This weeks tough question is, "Is there a right or wrong way to pray? Should prayers be said out loud rather than silently ? Sitting vs kneeling, etc?"
This is a great question because it has so many layers. On the surface there is no wrong way to pray. If you are comfortable kneeling, sitting, standing, or walking then do so. I usually do a combination of all of these. My prayers are usually out loud but in a hushed tone because I pray in the morning before my kids get up and I don't want to to wake them, which would end my prayer time...(click here to read more)

 Our goal as a church community is to give 1000 backpacks to local children and you can help!
