At The Village Chapel our desire is to live the Word of God through Worship, Outreach, Relationships, and Discipleship. We believe that if we focus on Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth that God will present opportunities for us to reach out to those who need Jesus, grow in our relationships with one another, and go deeper in our walk with Christ as Disciples.

* Children will be checking into their classes before services begin for both 8:30 and 10:30 services.

* There is a new "check-in tent" that you will go to with your child before taking them to class.  Everyone will need to fill out a brief information form at the tent one time only.

 April 26th!

Tough question

This weeks tough question is, "Where in the Bible are dinosaurs mentioned, and if so, where did they dwell in relation to the Garden of Eden or anywhere for that matter?  Did their demise occur during the fall of man?"

 

This is a great question which made me do a lot of reading. First of all the word Dinosaur wasn't coined until the 1800's. In fact the first dinosaur fossil wasn't found until 1820. So why doesn't the Bible mention dinosaurs? The easy answer is that they are called something else...click here to read more
