On Friday, March 28, the Concert Choir presents an evening of international selections, American folk songs, and sacred music. JAZZ WITH WIL SWINDLER ELEVENET

Wil Swindler''s ElevenetJazz Combos welcome acclaimed composer and alto saxophonist Wil Swindler's newest musical project, the Elevenet for a performance that includes a new work composed for the occasion. The Elevenet is comprised of jazz improvisers and classical musicians, and follows in the tradition of jazz great Gil Evans and his compositions for groups of 9 to12 musicians. Featured musicians include Peter Sommer, Todd Reid, Art Bouton, Al Hood, Kevin Whalen, Tom Ball, as well Fort Collins Symphony members April Johannesen and Jason Johnston. Truly a unique concert experience, the Elevenet is a celebration of art-music and improvisation.

FACULTY CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT

Virtuoso Series Faculty ConcertEnjoy the many talents of the CSU faculty in their Virtuoso Series Concert with Leslie Stewart, Ron Francois, and Michael Thaut, violin, Margaret Miller, viola, Barbara Thiem, cello, and Charles Taylor, baritone. The concert also includes the Faculty and Student Wind Octet with Michelle Stanley, flute, Charles Lawson, clarinet, Gary Moody and Merrill Bourgoyne, bassoon, Dan Kuehn and Zac Timbrell, trumpet, Greg Harper and William Stanley, trombone, conducted by Wes Kenney.
