TALENTED PERCUSSIONIST JOHN HERMANSON PERFORMS IN WIND ENSEMBLE INVITATIONAL
John Hermanson started his musical career in the 5th grade. His parents convinced him to play an instrument, and he chose percussion. He has now been playing percussion for over 15 years, and has enjoyed every second of it. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in music education from CSU in 2006, and returned for his Master's degree in Conducting and Education, which he will finish in May. READ MORE (PDF)
Hermanson is a member of the Wind Ensemble that presents an annual high school invitational concert. He says, "Making music together is always the best part of any concert, but this offers a very unique opportunity for people of many different ages to come together and create a moment in music."
