GREAT PLAYWRIGHTS ON STAGE

The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter

PLAYS BY PINTER AND CHEKHOV IN SPRING SEASON

The Theatre program will stage works by two great playwrights during its spring performance season: The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter, directed by Dr. Eric Prince and The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, directed by Walt Jones.

These productions will provide students with unprecedented opportunities onstage and off. Students will work with guest professional costume and set designer Liam O'Brien and comprehensive design assignments will be entrusted to upperclass majors. With their depth and complexity, both plays provide students the challenge of tackling major, difficult roles.

Opening Feb. 7 - The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter

Opening Apr. 17 - The Seagull by Anton Chekhov

Also, mark your calendar and watch for more information on the Theatre G.A.L.A. (Gateway to Live Action) on March 8!
