The deadline for co-sponsors to sign on to our
CPA legislation has been extended to Wednesday,
February 11, 2009. That means that if your
legislators are not on the list of co-sponsors below,
you have one more week to convince them to sign
on.
We've made excellent progress, with 15 state
Senators and 34 state Representatives signing on as
co-sponsors to date. They include:
State Senators:
Stephen Brewer, Scott Brown, Stephen Buoniconti,
Harriette Chandler, Cynthia Stone Creem, Kenneth
Donnelly, Benjamin Downing, Jamie Eldridge, Susan
Fargo, Jennifer Flanagan, Anthony Galluccio, Patricia
Jehlen, Robert O'Leary, James Timilty and Susan
Tucker.
State Representatives:
Geraldo Alicea, Cory Atkins, Will Brownsberger,
Christine Canavan, Geraldine Creedon, Steven
D'Amico, Carolyn Dykema, Denis Guyer, Kate Hogan,

If they are not yet on the list, please contact
your state
Senator and
Representative and ask them to co-sponsor "An
Act to Sustain Community Preservation"
filed by Senator Creem.
As you know, "An Act to Sustain Community
Preservation" seeks to stabilize the statewide CPA
Trust Fund and make other improvements to the Act.
For more information, read the
bill summary and text of the legislation, or call the
Coalition at 617-367-8998.
We'll keep you updated as the bill progresses. As
always, thank you for your support!
