 Crossing Borders: Foreign Films in Hollywood addresses questions about the future of foreign films in the broader international market. The panel is to be moderated by Peter Caranicas, Deputy Editor of Variety, and presented by ELMA (European Languages and Movies in America). CLOSING FILM, ORPHEUS AWARDS & RECEPTION
The 5th anniversary of Los Angeles Greek Film Festival will be commemorated on Sunday, June 12 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. The prestigious LAGFF Audience Award will be presented by actor Billy Zane. Jazz vocalist Alexia Vassiliou will present the Honorary Orpheus Award to Mikis Theodorakis. Theo Alexander ("True Blood") will present a special jury award and the event will be emceed by Angelo Tsarouchas. To reserve your tickets, please click here .

THE DIRECTORS ARE COMING
 LAGFF will soon welcome the attending filmmakers, several of whom are currently on location filming, and will be arriving from Greece, Germany, Turkey, Denmark, UK, Cyprus, and Israel. In addition, LAGFF will feature the work of three local filmmakers. RESERVE TICKETS & ALL-ACCESS PASS EARLY
Click on the day (below), then purchase tickets for the film you want to see. Screenings are filling up and Opening Night has few tickets remaining. The best way to gaurentee seats is to reserve a 2011 Elite Pass. It was created for the purpose of offering LAGFF patrons a way to support the Festival and the filmmakers while enjoying priority seating and access to the industry panel, opening and closing night galas, and all screenings.

CLOSING NIGHT STREET CLOSURES
Due to the Gay Pride Parade, traffic will be closed on Santa Monica Boulevard between Fairfax Avenue and Doheny Drive starting at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 12.
Santa Monica Blvd. will re-open immediately at the end of the end of the Parade, which may be as late as 4:00 p.m.
To attend either Laemmle's screenings or Closing Night at the Writers Guild Theater on Sunday, June 12, avoid Santa Monica Blvd between Fairfax and Doheny Drive.
