ClosingCLOSING FILM, ORPHEUS AWARDS & RECEPTION 

The 5th anniversary of Los Angeles Greek Film Festival will be commemorated on Sunday, June 12 at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. The prestigious LAGFF Audience Award will be presented by actor Billy Zane. Jazz vocalist Alexia Vassiliou will present the Honorary Orpheus Award to Mikis Theodorakis.  Theo Alexander ("True Blood") will present a special jury award and the event will be emceed by Angelo Tsarouchas.  To reserve your tickets, please click here

CLOSING NIGHT STREET CLOSURES

CLOSURESDue to the Gay Pride Parade, traffic will be closed on Santa Monica Boulevard between Fairfax Avenue and Doheny Drive starting at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 12.

 

Santa Monica Blvd. will re-open immediately at the end of the end of the Parade, which may be as late as 4:00 p.m.

 

To attend either Laemmle's screenings or Closing Night at the Writers Guild Theater on Sunday, June 12, avoid Santa Monica Blvd between Fairfax and Doheny Drive.
