LAGFF welcomes Volunteer Coordinator Atina Hartunian and Volunteer Liaison Adrian Fernandez back to the Festival. Both have worked at LAGFF since 2009 in several capacities on the Festival production team.
For the Festival's 5th anniversary, Atina and Adrian unite to build the corps of volunteers needed to successfully stage 4 days of events - staffing over 60 positions and posts for LAGFF.
Atina Hartunian is a website content freelance writer. She is currently the book editor for Black Belt Communications. A samurai of the
sentence, Atina works with many of the world's greatest martial artists to create instructional books for self-defense enthusiasts. When not practicing sword etiquette, she's reading with her book group, writing short stories or stage managing festival and theatrical events. This is her third year with LAGFF.
Adrian Fernandez, LAGFF's first and foremost philhellene, became involved with LAGFF due to his interest in Greek culture which grew from his close knit friendships with Greeks from his hometown. He has always found the Greek community to be very open and welcoming.
Together, Atina and Adrian have built a united team of LAGFF volunteers who receive such benefits as advance screenings and exclusive access to the event production process.
