My Life In Ruins" opens June 5 - please see it this Friday, June 5th !
Here's why:
"My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was an independent film so was in theaters for a
long time.
"My Life In Ruins" is being released by a studio.
It might only be in theaters for a short time because the theater owners decide, based on
the audience turnout on the First Friday, how long to keep a movie in their theaters.
"My Life In Ruins" is opening on the same day as 2 much bigger movies.
Next week more big moves will open.
If "My Life In Ruins" does not do well on the First Friday and first weekend, the theater owners will just replace it with another movie.
But if it does well, it will stay in theaters longer.
So, we are asking people to please go to the theater on Friday June 5th.
