What could you resurrect?
Welcome

I hope you had a lovely Easter break.

At this time of year, after eating lots of chocolate eggs, we are reminded of a particular religious celebration based on the resurrection.  Coincidentally I have been working with a number of clients recently helping them to resurrect some big dreams that they had buried.

This got me thinking about this  month's newsletter.  Read on to explore more about how this spring could be a time of new beginnings for you.

Warm Regards

Burying our dreams
In my work with clients I am privileged to learn about their deepest fears and their wildest dreams.  One thing that never ceases to surprise me though, is how quickly their hopes and dreams are cast aside.  It seems that we are very good at burying our dreams.

I would like to share an example with you to illustrate this point.  One of my clients is an incredibly talented writer whose work is mostly focused in the business world.  This client has a secret passion to become a script writer and once dreamed of winning a BAFTA* award.  She buried this dream a long time ago and when initially brought up in conversation it was quickly dismissed as just a fantasy.

As her coach I can see the absolute potential and talent that this client has.  Her writing has a unique quality that connects and moves people.  I truly believe this dream is not a fantasy for her and is absolutely achievable.  The problem is, not has she got the talent to achieve her dream, but that she keeps burying it!

I'm wondering if this might be true for you.  Do you have a secret dream that you have long buried?

* For my international readers BAFTA is the British Academy of Film and Television Arts
Resurrecting the hope
Just imagine that you could start afresh.  That you could remove all your fears, limiting beliefs, negative thinking, procrastination or laziness.  What might you resurrect?

Perhaps it could be:Child breaking through
  • A dream that you have always wanted to achieve
  • An old hobby that you have given up and used to love
  • A childlike quality that has disappeared over the years
  • A long-forgotten friendship that you once cherished
  • A helpful habit that used to serve you well

I don't know what it might be for you, but most people have something that they bury and spend their lives secretly hoping for.  Now might be a good time to think about resurrecting it.
Now is a good time
The symbolic egg at Easter represents new life and new beginnings.  So I hope this Eggnewsletter has inspired you to break out of your shell and hatch a few new ideas - sorry for the puns I couldn't resist it!
