Welcome
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your support this year and to wish you a wonderful Christmas.
As Christmas Eve fast approaches and Father Christmas enters the busiest time of his year I have taken a few moments to lightheartedly reflect on the great skills that he demonstrates.
Wishing you a happy and peaceful holiday.
Warmest wishes
Nicky

| What a guy! |

Father Christmas is a world-renowned public figure with a positive image that spans the globe. He has maintained that image over many centuries coping effortlessly with the changes in our society.
As we know, he runs a large organisation employing a magical workforce of happy and devoted elves. They work all year round to help him achieve his goal and deliver presents to all the world's children. He also manages a loyal and high-performing team of reindeer.
So how does he do it and how has he managed to stay so successful? |
| Individual Effectiveness |
|
| Luminate specialises in helping individuals become high performers and there is no better seasonal performer than Father Christmas.
Luminate uses a psychometric questionnaire to assess an individual's effectiveness - the combination of skills, attitudes and habits that distinguish superior performance in life and work. Here's how the man himself would rate on a handful of the measures...
- Awareness of others - Father Christmas has the ability to know what each and every one of us wants for Christmas. He also knows if we have been naughty or nice!
- Emotional Resilience - He doesn't get disheartened even when people say he doesn't exist!
- Goal Directedness - Father Christmas has a clear goal on Christmas Eve and his actions and behaviour all year remain focussed on this.
- Flexibility - He is able to adapt his approach to all the different children across the world (and all the different shape and sizes of chimneys he encounters).
- Personal Connectedness - Father Christmas has created a significant connection with each and everyone one of us. We each hold a special place for him in our hearts.
- Invitation to Trust - Who else would we welcome into our homes whilst we sleep and leave a little tipple and mince pie for!
It is these traits that make Father Christmas the special man that he is. I hope he brings you everything you wish for this year. |
